1.16 Conclusions

This has been a long chapter inundating the reader with a large number of details. The intention has been to introduce to the reader as much of Perl’s capabilities as possible. Once the reader has read this chapter, the reader should have a very good understanding of what Perl can do and is well on his or her way to mastering Perl. In fact, Perl can do a lot more, and the rest of the book will discuss many of these new topics. Note that some of the examples in this chapter were modeled after examples [KR98].
